We at Pearson are very excited to be working on this important project.  Pearson will conduct professional scoring of portfolio entries and assessment center exercises at our network of performance scoring centers across the U.S.   As only practicing teachers are selected to score the assessments, we could not complete our work without the help of dedicated teacher participants.  Thank you to all of our experienced assessors!

Information about the NBPTS Recruitment Process:

• The Application Process for NEW HIRES can be completed through accessing and submitting the Online Application - APPLY HERE
• The Application Process for Rehires/Experienced Assessors can be completed through submitting the Availability Survey (Emailed to eligible rehires in early 2013)
• A dedicated Pearson NBPTS email account:  scorenbpts@pearson.com can be used to direct your questions or concerns about NBPTS scoring with Pearson.   In the subject line of your email, please include your desired scoring location from the list of NBPTS scoring sites below so that we can respond to your inquires more efficiently.

Did you score NBPTS with us in 2009, 2010, 2011 and/or 2012 and want to score again?

Pearson NBPTS scorers eligible for rehire were sent an email on December 14th, 2012 with instructions to complete an availability survey in order to be considered for employment during the 2013 NBPTS scoring season.  After the survey has been submitted, qualified applicants will receive an email offer for project placement.  We will begin making offers of employment in late February/early March.  If you did not recieve the email, or need to contact Pearson for any other reason (such as updating your contact information), please email us at scorenbpts@pearson.com.  Please note the site in which you previously scored and, if different, your desired scoring location in 2013 in the subject line of your email.

Never scored NBPTS with Pearson, but think you might be interested?

If you are interested in becoming an NBPTS Scorer, Supervisor, or Trainer, please REVIEW eligibility and experience requirements to determine if you meet qualification standards.  Qualified candidates can access and to complete the Online Application Survey in early 2013 in order to begin the recruitment/hiring process.  After the survey has been submitted, a dedicated member of the NBPTS recruiting staff will then follow up with qualified applicants based on project availability.
